QUALITY POLICY In respect of its quality management processes, it is the policy of this school: To offer bilingual education for life; to orient students towards success, and to promote social responsibility and the development of Ethical Principles, in order to have a positive impact on our community for the betterment of the region and the country. This policy will be achieved by working on the students’ wellbeing, providing a kind and gentle atmosphere, working with parents in the formation of their children, and ensuring the continual improvement of the school. Adopted by the Board of Directors on October 30th, 2007 MISSION To form well-rounded successful leaders who are ethical and who communicate effectively and confidently on a universal level. The School Mission is achieved through four components : - * Bilingual education: Content-based education exists in which approximately 65 % of instruction is given in English. Native English speakers and bilingual staff are hired to teach the core subjects. Books and resource materials are imported from the US. A strong Spanish language program exists from preschool through high school.
- * College preparatory: Guided by the standards of the Ministry of Education of Colombia, and those of a U.S.-type school, our academic program prepares students to continue their studies at any Colombian university or in any other English-speaking country.
* Continuous search for knowledge: Integrated and research-based projects throughout the curriculum, in conjunction with the library and media center, the computer and science labs, are implemented to support this goal. * Contribution to society: Curriculum and character development programs supported by parents, school, and the community aim to awaken social consciousness, solidarity, and responsibility.
VISION We will be a community that develops a learning environment based on exciting and significant educational experiences, uncovering and enhancing the potential and development of all of our school community members.
